Ramsay imaging
Ramsay Imaging offers a MRI and CT scanning service, providing
diagnostic images of the highest quality at a competitive
price.
At Ramsay Imaging we have a fleet of five MRI scanners and a CT
scanner, which provide a wide range of imaging services up and down
the UK. Quality assurance tests are regularly undertaken on each
scanner, and constantly monitored protocols ensure our images are
the very best for each patient we scan.
All our scanners provide a variety of high quality images,
including complex musculo-skeletal imaging, and imaging relating to
oncology and neurology. The CT scanner also includes a wide range
of cardiac imaging.
Every scanner is staffed by fully qualified Radiographers,
registered with the Health Professionals Council, who receive
regular training in the latest techniques.
Using the latest technology
We have a fleet of five Siemens Symphony 1.5 Tesla MRI mobile
scanners, and one Siemens Definition mobile 64 slice CT scanner. As
well as mobile units, we also offer static MRI and CT services
within some of our Ramsay hospitals.
Our static and mobile scanners are part of a constant rolling
upgrade program, ensuring that we have up-to-date equipment and the
latest technology.
All our scanners are configured with the Ramsay RIS/PACS system,
to enable referring Consultants to electronically access their
patients’ scans. The ability to transmit images around the world,
swiftly and securely, means that image interpretation and
consultation can be handled far more effectively and
economically.
Bringing services to your patients
Ramsay Imaging can deliver bespoke mobile imaging for other
providers of private and NHS care. Ramsay Imaging can assist with a
range of requirements, from long-term contracts to one-off
requests, either from healthcare providers or individuals.
Our dedicated team of Radiographers can provide a fully managed
service, to include booking appointments and reporting scans if
required. We can scan a 12 hour day, starting at 8am, and
guaranteed quick turnaround times, with all reports undertaken by
specialist Radiologists.
